Located between Bull Shoals and Lake Norfork, Mountain Home has everything that someone who enjoys being outdoors could want. Our lakes and rivers are home to some of the finest fishing in the United States, and competitions are held every season to find out who our current champions are. Our hiking trails and those nearby travel to a variety of fascinating natural landmarks and unusual sights. Caves and other geological formations are also nearby with guided tours and interesting formations. Our local community also features a variety of festivals and events, ranging from fairs and carnivals to rodeo and musical performances. Arkansas is home to more deer than humans, and the Ozarks have large amounts of wild turkey, coyotes, and other game for the avid hunters of our area. Come visit, and you may never want to leave!
